- Is it really free?
- Yes. Claiming your handle, uploading photos, and your public page are all free — no credit card, no subscription, and no ads on your page. A paid Pro tier may come later with extras, but the core portfolio stays free.
- Do I need a website already?
- No. JobDoneBy is your website. You get a clean page at jobdoneby.com/@yourhandle that you can share by text, on business cards, or on social media — no domain, hosting, or web designer needed.
- Do you use my photos for anything else?
- No. Your photos are only ever shown on your own public page. We strip GPS location out of every public image and never show your exact address — only the city. We do not sell your photos or use them to train anything.
- What is JobDoneBy?
- JobDoneBy is a free portfolio website for contractors and tradespeople. You upload job photos from your phone and get a clean public page of before-and-after projects to share with customers.
- How does it work?
- Upload your job photos and JobDoneBy sorts them into before-and-after projects automatically. Review the results, publish, and share your one link. It takes a few minutes on your phone.
- What kind of work is it for?
- Any skilled trade — roofing, painting, landscaping, concrete, remodeling, flooring, fencing, auto detailing, and more. If your work has a clear before and after, it shows well on JobDoneBy.
- Do I have to sort the photos myself?
- No. JobDoneBy groups your photos into projects and guesses which are before, progress, and after shots. You can fix anything with a tap before you publish.
- Can I use it from my phone?
- Yes. JobDoneBy is built phone-first. You can upload straight from your camera roll, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
- Can I change my page or remove a project later?
- Yes. You can rename projects, reorder photos, change the cover, re-tag before and after, and unpublish or delete a project any time from your dashboard.
- What happens to my location data?
- GPS coordinates are stripped from every public image and your street address is never shown. Projects show the city only, so customers see the area you work in without exposing a home address.
